Most foil cutters end up at the back of a drawer, behind the corkscrew you also can’t find. This one has a magnet in it, so it lives on the fridge door — about three feet from where you actually open the bottle.

Sit it on the neck, twist, lift. The metal cutter inside takes the foil off in one movement, cleanly, with no knife and no ragged edge for the wine to catch on as you pour.
